Wadon Racing Acquires Bert Blue Magic™ Lubricants

Wadon Racing President and CEO Wade Hegler announced that recently his company has acquired the ownership and distribution rights of Bert Blue Magic Lubricants. Bert Blue Magic is exclusively produced by SynMax™ Performance Lubricants featuring several different oil products including: Bert Blue Magic 2-Speed Transmission Fluid, Bert Blue Magic Ball Spline Grease and Bert Ball Spline Unit servicing grease kit. "Our racers have asked us time and time again over the years to recommend a quality lubricant for their Bert 2 Speed Transmissions and Bert Ball Spline Unit. Previously there were several products on the market they could use with limited success, but NOW we have specialty oil products specifically formulated for these applications. The best part is we used over 30 combined years of our Bert Transmission experience to set the quality control standards and specifications of these products." Hegler said that also he would continue to spend a lot of time servicing and selling Bert products, now that I have the new generation Bert 2-Speed with almost no rotating mass, we have created a lot of interest in both the old and new Bert products.

Bert Blue Magic 2-Speed Transmission Fluid features a formulation which was specifically designed for use with both the Bert and Falcon 2-Speed Transmissions with internal wet clutch / material facing design. Proprietary additives work together with the aggressive racing clutch material facings to safely increase "bite" while continually cleansing the multi-disk clutch pressure plate areas. Decreases clutch slippage, varnishing and sticking while increasing overall shifting performance and service life. Provides and maintains proper hydraulic fluid viscosity between the multi-clutch disk plates for increased and consistent clutch pedal performance. Reduces the common "whine" which comes from high RPM clutch / spline shaft vibration, harmonic and surface contact area distortions. Synthetic chemistry with anti-wear technology; reduces internal parasitic drag, provides cooler component temperatures and smoother operations. While protecting shafts, gears and bearings with increased durability and transmission life.

Previous problem with the Bert Ball Spline unit was the ability to properly service for performance and durability. This has been solved with use of the Bert Blue Magic Racing High RPM Grease and special 3 oz. grease gun application kit with a rubber needle for proper ball spline maintenance, increasing service life. Bert Blue Magic CSC Grease is specifically designed for high speed applications up to 10,000 RPM, Hi-Temp to 500F, Waterproof, also Tacky to stick, Coat and Protect within the ball and spline surface and seal areas not to sling out under extreme duty competition racing conditions.

Hegler is also very excited about the new Upgrade for the Bert Hydraulic Clutch Piston which is easy and simple to install. "This is a revolutionary new design – we have cut the number of piston moving parts from 4 down to 2 while also improving the efficiency, durability, dependability and service life of the clutches”. Hegler added. “The piston is made from aerospace grade CNC Billet Aluminum and features both double Teflon oil rings and built in rubber lip seal with a built in spring pocket, replacing the previous piston and old rubber puck. The double Teflon o-ring design keeps the transmission fluid away from the rubber seal and brake fluid thereby increasing pedal pressure and response stability”.
