WaDon Racing Introduces New Line of Drive Shafts
$560.00 Short time Special Price Call for
Details
Wadon Racing, the
leading rebuilder/dealer for Bert Racing Transmissions, is now a
stocking dealer for a new line of carbon fiber and aluminum
driveshafts. The owner of WaDon Racing is very
enthusiastic about the latest addition to his product line. “After
everything that Jeremy Clements has gone through with the injury he
received as a result of a steel driveshaft, we began looking for a
safer alternative and we have found it. These shafts are so much
safer and they are really put together
well.”
The carbon fiber shafts of today are made to
disintegrate during a catastrophic driveline failure. Because of
this disintegration the shaft won’t enter the drivers’ compartment.
The aluminum driveshafts are also much safer than the steel mini
shafts that many racers have been using in the last several years.
Because the aluminum is much softer than steel it is also much less
likely to penetrate the drivers compartment.
“We were so compelled by the incidents we have seen
and what we have learned through some testing that we actually
recommend a carbon fiber or aluminum drive shaft. “The carbon fiber
is a little more expensive but I think it will be worth the cost in
safety and peace of mind.”
Wadon Racing was founded in 1987 and is committed to
customer service and support. Many of the southeast’s top racers
including 2005 O’Reilly Southern All Star Champion Chris Madden,
